Well, here she is
I got her back today. Alex outdid himself. The list of work boggles the mind. DA trigger pull is just at 5# and SA is just at 2#. Magnaport quad port. The short barrel is the before.

.
If that is nitride on stainless, I have heard it is extremely durable and probably overall the best in terms of combining durability with lack of glare and flash. It’s what the Big Horn Armory users on their model 89 leverguns.

Re: Well, here she is
So, here are the specifics:
Finish is Black Gunkote over stainless so should be impervious to most things.
Essentially everything inside the gun was reworked, from factory mis-sized throating to the trigger. The DA trigger pull is amazing and is so smooth it almost feels like a slightly heavy single action. The SA pull is actually scary at 2#. It feels like itll drop the hammer if you simply think about it.
All the sharp frame edges were beveled. The 8rd cylinder holes were better chamfered. The barrel was Magnaport Quad Ported and crowned. It is actually from a 1970s era HWY Patrolman but was unmounted.
The rear sight is a Dave Lauck Combat sight. TK custom extended slide release. It also have a TK Custom Target hammer. Alex dovetailed the front sight and then made one for it. I will upgrade to a Big Dot at some point.
The grips are Culina Osage Premiere.

Looks great, bet it shoots great too! Magna Porting works and on a rifle you lose less velocity than with a full blown muzzle break. -Tutt

Neat! I thought about picking up one of those 8-shooters for a walkin' around gun.
