OT: New Ruger Blackhawk for me!

Post by Steve Collins »

Just picked up my new 6 1/2" Ruger Blackhawk .357 today. Went to Brownell's and ordered a Bowen rear sight and #5 base pin for it already; sent an email to Rob Leahy about making up a rig similar to Skeeter's #120; next stop, Eagle Grips for some stag grips for it. Jeez, I haven't even put a round through it yet!

Well, we'll take care of that! I've got a couple hundred of Elmer's loads here waiting...Soon as I can figure out this pic posting thing I'll put it up...

Steve, look forward to your pics. Which Bowen rear sight did you go with? I've seen those Eagle Stag grips. They are beautiful but not cheap! :o

I know, I know, it's useless without pics!!!! I've got the before pictures, and I'll take it out this weekend, if not sooner.

Tutt, I got the Rough Country sight with the square notch. The factory rear sight is fine, I just wanted something a little different, plus the grips.
