S&w model 642 grips

Post by 4t5 »

I want a set of wood grips for this gun, do regular j frame grips fit? The S&w site says it’s a centennial model, and I don’t know if that is different?

J Frame Round Butt. Some will cut off right even with the frame, typically referred to as a boot grip, others will be longer.

Thanks for the reply, didn’t know if a centennial was cut a little different!

Altimont will run a few batches of overstock a month on Gunbroker. I think I picked these up for $25 or so.

I was thinking the same thing. Who is the maker/model of that knife?

Thanks Guys!

The knife is marked A.G. Russell. It is Chinese made, unfortunately, but I bought it for my 50th birthday and five years later it's holding up well.
Surprisingly, the still have them in stock.

Always liked dagger style knives.
