Never heard of RLA

maybe it has something to do with you being in australia. maybe the A at the end stands for australia. maybe some kind of import stamp or something? I'm assuming this is stamped on the gun?

Regulatory Leeches of Australia?

I think it may just refer to the action - r = ? But LA = lever action. The bolt actions in the ad are listed as RBA, so seems right.

If it's a CB (cowboy) model it can't be a Ruger as those cowboy models were made 20 years ago I think

Nevermind about it anyways. Was told they’d put my name on it and it ended up sold to someone else so ah well.

Sometimes one must simply act... I've failed to follow that advice a few times myself... but, when I've followed it, I've very, very seldom regretted it!

I did. Called up and was told it had my name on it. Then someone else said it was sold to someone else and got a bit confusing.

Seller called up yesterday asking for my dealer details so maybe it’s still happening.
