I don't think it is really over as the article states:
"Benitez's latest decision would overturn multiple state statutes related to assault weapons. The judge gave the state 10 days to seek a stay on the ruling as part of an appeal to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
"California Attorney General Rob Bonta said his office had already filed a notice of appeal."
Going to be interesting if this case is heard by the entire 9th Circuit judges or a 3 judge panel....

"Weapons of war have no place on California's streets," Bonta said in a statement Thursday. I hate to break it to AG Bonta, but 'weapons of war" have been on America's streets since revolutionary times! (Yes, ang before). Plus, the AR-15 is not a "weapon of war."

He doesn't give a hoot about 'weapons of war', he cares about POWER! If the electorate is powerless to oppose their lust for power, we are just sheep to be exploited.
