Anybody use the LEE 30-30 case length gauge for trimming 32 Win Spc as well?
I haven’t yet done any reloading for my 32 win spc and don’t have any of my manuals in front of me currently but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work off the top of my head since it’s basically the same case as a 30-30.

Not 100% sure what you're asking...
The .30-30 case length and trim length is only .001 less than the 32 WS, so it should work. Close enough anyway.
Which particular Lee tool are you referring to? The 90136?
You could definitely use the 32 WS tool to trim the 30-30.

Bridger, the length may be ok, but the case gauge/pilot will be too small allowing the cutter end to not cut square.
The gauge should be tight/snug on the cutter end.

Ahhh. Didn't think about that. I have several of those tools but have never used them. I have only used the Lyman trimmer. I can sure see where these Lees would be handy....if you have the right one.

My post may have been unclear BUT you guys did figure out exactly what I was asking and answered my question. I never even thought about the cut not being square. No biggie I’ll just buy the correct gauge…it’s only a few bucks!

I have a Lee trim die that I use with the rechargeable drill to turn the cutter, and it works fine with the 32 Special. Mine does not use any pilot so that is not an issue. On my die the issue would be if the 32 special neck was too large to fit through the plastic neck-holding collet, but as I said -- fits OK.

For what it is worth, the 30-30 Factory crimp die works perfect for the 32 Special also.
