MARIJUANA FILLED FIREWOOD



''Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?''

''Yes What can I do for you?''

''I'm calling to report 'bout my neighbor
Virgil Smith....He's hidin' marijuana inside his
firewood! Don't quite know how he gets it inside them
logs, but he's hidin' it there.''

''Thank you very much for the call, sir.''

The next day, the Sheriff's Deputies descend on
Virgil's house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept. Using axes, they bust open every piece of wood, but find no marijuana. They sneer at Virgil and leave.

Shortly, the phone rings at Virgil's house.

''Hey, Virgil! This here's Floyd....Did the
Sheriff come?''

''Yeah!''

''Did they chop your firewood?''

"Yep!''

''Happy Birthday, buddy!''

Same joke in a "Democrat" version goes around about "...he's buried guns all over the yard..." and the guy gets his garden tilled for free.

Of course, the reality is that they'd plant some "evidence" just so they could seize the property, intimidate the family, and our lovely Republican crusaders could claim another "drug war victory" - or if it was Demoncrats, another "gun war victory" - same thing, same end result, only difference is whether there is an "R" or a "D" after their name.

Good joke though. Just bad times these days for freedom...

Seems the government is good at getting things messed up, then getting us all to blame whatever demon ('drugs' or 'guns' or 'the wealthy' or whoever) we dislike, and then promising to 'make it all better' if we just grant them unlimited powers to destroy anyone or anything we dislike.
