Just what I needed another holster!
This came in the mail today. A very nice "Turn of the Century" period holster. It is in great condition and has a nice patina.

Rangerider, I bet you could come up with some good old holsters for my naked and non holstered bunch of 6 guns. You seem to have a good sniffer to find these jewels.
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.

You do have the knack for finding those. Very nice.

I bet your wife loves your affecton for holsters. There is NO WAY you could ever complain about her shoes!

OMG!!!! Another one! I just thought of it.You need someone to make you a giant sized "holster bed"(big enough for two) to slip into and sleep soundly dreaming of your holsters with you fitting in it like your guns fitting in your holsters.Passion?? "no" Obession.Nothing wrong with that! Somthing to love!

Very nice holster, but what is the gun in it? It appears to have Biley-style grips on it. Looks great.

Too nice to be from Heiser, IMHO...Doc Hudson wrote:ood looking old holster!

Heiser was the K-Mart of leather makers, back in the day, so far as accessories are concerned. Saddles were pretty good, though.

Re: Just what I needed another holster!
No maker mark on it. It was probably made by a saddle maker in his saddle shop. Collecting "OLD WEST" items has made marked goods worth more money. Many quality items were not marked but made by a small independent leather maker. The same goes for spurs etc; many a cowboy ordered his working goods from a local maker not the large catalog producers. The revolver is a 1904 Colt Bisley.
