I like the SRC with the 20 " barrels. Are these reliable ,smooth working and accurate? do they have any dumb safety buttons or tangs? .Any dislikes with them? Hammer spring leaf or coil? Barrel twist rate for 45 colt?

I have a 357 Cimarron SRC. It is accurate, works great, no stupid safties, and looks great. The spring and twist rate I don't know, sorry.

I like mine just fine! This one is a Cimmie 92 take down with 20 inch octagon barrel. Caliber 44-40. Slickest out of the box 92 I have ever handled! :)

They do cost more than any other 92 copy, however.

These guns are made by Army Sport now Armi Chiappa. It’s imported by Cimarron, EMF, Taylors and Charles Daley. The early Armi Sport guns were made from Armi San Marco parts and had some functionality problems. The current guns are much better but they have done some things I think are solutions to problem that don't exist. The lever/bolt pin is screwed in. Somebody's gonna end up beating hell out of one of these guns thinking it's like the original. The other issue is the tiny nut the added to the loading gate rather than thread the gate. If you don't know this taking one apart you will most likely lose it. For some rreason they changed the angle of the rim slots in the cart guides. this make them more ammo sensitive. But the biggest problem with it, like the old ASM’s it has a two piece ejector that is prone to separate. I do like their takedown gun. I bought one but it now has a Rossi ejector, lever/bolt pin, cart. guide’s and loading gate.

yep, what Steve said, they are ammo sensitive. that is why he is currently reworking the action on mine, a 20 inch takedown in 45 colt
