I am doing much better - thank you for asking! I behaved all last week - strictly stayed in bed, got up and walked for 10 minutes every 2 hours, and took my medicine. Ended up working though each day, all day - just did it from bed with my laptop on my lap and my cell phone at my side.

Met with the doctor's lead nurse last Thursday and she cleared me to start working in the home office, beginning a 1/2 hour at a time, then resting on my back. I can also start driving again - short distances! :D So, slowly but surely in the right direction.

Good to hear your getting up and about. That's what it takes. A good friend of mine just had a knee replacement and they had him up and walking the next day and every day there after. He said he was on the verge of tears, but did what they wanted. Medical doesn't like you sitting around anymore and they're right. The faster one gets up and moving, as long as it isn't over done, the faster one heals.
