Nice bear taken with Win .30WCF

Post by 336A »

I don't know if this has been posted here before or not but I thought that this is a pretty good video. It appears that the hunter is using a Winchester M64, either way it is a nice bear and a great shot. I hope you all enjoy it.

It has to be rigged. Everybody knows 30 wcf is not enough rifle for bear. :D :D I guess somebody forgot to tell the bear.

Nice bear. I like home made videos like that. Just hunting, no trying to sell the latest wizbang rifle or gaget like the tv shows.

A nice video of a clean hunt, doing exactly the sort of work the .30-30 was designed to do. Thanks!

Thought you folks would like to see that. It is refreshing to see that there are still people out there that still actually hunt and stalk to get a good clean shot. Which also tells me they have respect for the quarry that their after in order to ensure a good clean harvest. To me that is the true essence of hunting. Not doing what some of these guys do which seems to be trying to shoot their quarry 300yd away and beyond  Which in turn just ends up maiming the poor animal and gives all of us hunters a bad rap in the publics eye

One shot one kill. Just the way it should be I guess. My curiosity is what load was he using. That one round hammered that bear.

Yep, and he didn't even have his infra-red laser 24X rangfinder scope on it either!
