was looking at the website

and just curious - why isn't the takedown trapper offered in 44 mag.


seems like it would be very easy to offer it in that - most of the oether versions are offered in several chamberings. Seems like it would be fun to have one of these.

Since the TD removes about ¼ of the barrel threads, I suspect that the thinner chamber walls in the .44 vs the .357 might be considered a weak point. Also the .44 Rem Mag has a lot more bolt thrust than the .357.
