OT - Honda U3X Personal Mobility device

This is neat, but somehow I think if these young ladies used these things all the time instead of walking, they would end up being 400+ pounds!

This would be popular with some of the people I see in Wal-Mart. Of course would need wider seats and heavy duty tires. Just kidding.

The time will come when we have folks using them to work when they would otherwise be unable. I have a neighbor who is a dietary supervisor in a hospital. She logs about 8-10 miles a day walking at work. Her knees are about shot and she's 58, so she's gotta keep plugging, in pain, or be out of work most of a year to get her knees fiixed, something she can't afford..... One of those critters would allow her to work without pain.

Yep, i can see a practical application for some people --- I'm 39 and my knees feel gone some days too, i can only imagine how they'll be in 20 more years
