Good service from quality gunsmith

Post by Marlin32 »

I have had a bad run of customer service lately. Today wasn't one of them
I contacted Mic Mcpherson about my Marlin 336 XLR, 338ME, with some questions and possible tune ups etc.

He responded very quickly and very frankly. He is a straight shooter. Too much so, cost him a job as now I probably am not going to do any work on the gun. (although any future work I have done on any levers is going straight to him and will refer him to anyone)

Quick reply, good straight forward information. I cannot ask any more than that.
Too bad others in business don't follow his lead.

He is a good man in my book. Thanks Mic.

I'll keep that in mind, myself.

We need more like Mic, in my opinion...

Cowboytutt and a couple of others have had a lot of work done by him and are very happy with his work.

How was his work load? I read some time ago health and other issues were a problem. Glad you had a good experience :D

Not sure about his health or work load. We didn't get that far in e-versation.
He is willing to do some of the work I want done,, just maybe not the whole "package"
And will work on my scope mount issue.
Just need to contact him today and get that squared away.
