Sure be a slick machine for somebody in the firewood business, though might be a little overkill for laying in the year's wood for the family.
Also, somebody still has to go out in the woods and yard in that batch of logs.

Neat to watch: that operator has been doing that for a while.

Now that is something I could have used when I lived in Alaska! I still want one!!! Alas, cut, split and delivered works just fine, now.

I like the part where the alien shakes his head to get the splinter out of his tooth.

that could be a shake-mill with a simple mod.

I like the kind of thinking that makes a bobcat do the firewood while I'm in the cab listening to the radio....

how does the stacking operation work? need an auto-rick-builder attachment?

great movie. beats almost everything on tv

Best Bobcat attachment ever. I especially like how it centers the dividing head based on the log thickness. I wonder if that the operator doing that manually or if the machine senses the log diameter and adjusts itself.

I was a slave to the chainsaw and splittin maul years ago. a few years ago Momma got the itch for another stove for backup when the power goes out. I found a Harmon stove that burns wood and/or hard Anthracite coal. the hard coal is available in 40lb bags. just pull up with the trailer and they load the pallet right on it. We have been very warm all winter burning coal, at half the cost of propane. hard coal has very little smell and no smoke. I'm very happy with the stove. http://www.harmanstoves.com/products/de ... The video wouldn't play for me. All I got was the black screen and the progress bar that moved, but no video.

I've seen that video before, and it's an awesome rig!!

I'd love to have one, but I wouldn't be able to wear any
pants before too long.

Ya see, that old maul helps keep my waistline in check!
But it's still way cool......

Way cool to watch, I thought it kind of seamed like it was alive, like some kind of animal.
Thanks for sharing.
