Interesting, I really miss paper shells and the fancy boxes they came in.

You can still get paper shotshells (about all I use anymore) :D
The days of those fancy boxes though are long gone

The toy shops around here only sell plastic shells, I'll have to look harder.

When I worked for Westley Richards they were making their own 12GA cartridges and I remember the trouble they had switching from paper to plastic shells, we had so many rejects, (which employees could have for free) I didn't have to buy ammo for ages.

I gave up on stores for all my ammo. purchases.
I do everything on line and buy them by the flat. :)

The Federal’s are awesome, I have cleanly taken squirrel out to 50 yrds. with the #7.5 shot from the Parker 12 ga full/full.

The RST’s from the Parker 16 ga. #6 shot have accounted for 12 very dead Pheasants to date. 8)

Contrary to popular belief it aint all about horsepower and 3.5” shells with the word magnum involved. :o

Do they still make and sell paper shot gun shells?
I started shooting shot guns in the late 60s and don't remember seeing any then or since.

I love the smell of a just fired paper shotgun shell. It brings back memories.

My favorite trap load is the Federal 3 dram paper Champion.
Used to by them several cases (500 per case) at a time.

Another for the smell of fired paper shells bringing back memories. My earliest hunts with Dad with him shooting his old Cresent Arms single shot 16 ga in the early 60s. First shotgun I ever fired. At 8 years old knocked me flat.
