Picked up a few old items in a big trade. (Photos)

Post by rangerider7 »

My wife is doing pretty good. She is taking a nap right now so I thought I would post a little. I had a big trade over the phone with a fellow collector the other day and I just got them put in my case. It was mostly badges. I'm a Texas collector and he collects from any western state so it worked out fine. There are to many at this time to describe but thought some of you might just want to take a look at them. :D

Very cool. I especially like how you match-up the photos to the badges giving the historical perspective.

I'm really glad to hear your wife is doing well.

That's really nice, as usual. I love your stuff and you are a good custodian of these treasures.

Just an FYI, "OT" is no longer required, in fact, we just don't do it. Thanks!
Sincerely,

Hobie

Like Hobie said.

The displays you come up with are awesome, and if you ever needed a job, any museum would love to have you there to work your craft for them.

Even more awesome is that your dearly-loved wife is doing better. 8)

I walked into a pawn shop in downtown El Paso about 20 years ago, and there was about a dozen old badges in the showcase. I bought them all. I have no seen them since the big move 4 years ago, but they are somewhere. When I find them I will find a way to let you have any you want. But, don't hold your breath.

Glad to hear the good news about your Mrs. That's always most important. Nothing like a fine lady to help us through life, and vise versa. You do a dang fine job of keeping us entertained with your pictures and tales. Thanks alot and please keep them coming.
