Can those be downloaded to a computer or does it have to be a Kindle?

Hey Jim, I read the first one. Great story, excellently written. I am assuming it is fiction, but based on some life experiences?

Do you have these available on Amazon in the Kindle short story section?

I have a book in the Kindle Books, "The Gartu Chronicles" It is available as a loaner for free as well as paying big bucks for, 0.99 :D

Would they load on a Nook...?

These files will not work with a Nook. I will try to convert them at a later date.

Download them to your desktop on your computer. Use a USB cable to connect your computer to your Kindle and drag them into the Kindle

OR

if you have the email address for your Kindle, email them to it and they will install.

The question about the stories: they are fiction but many of what I wrote were based upon things my Dad and I did when I was much younger .. in the last century ...
