Can I ride a three legged horse?

I made one for shooting. I have made a couple with four legs and found it hard to get them to not rock a little. I remember when I was a kid asking why the milking stool had only three legs. They always sit still on any rough surface.

Here's mine. No stool sample today.

How about some pics at different angles to see the design more clearly?

I might try building one like it.
