This was the ship..Freedom of the Seas...at one time, this was the largest ship in the world.
pool decks were pretty darn nice..
The interior of the ship was unbelievable..too darn classy for me..
Middle of the ship was like the mall with stores, bars, and fooooooood
Dining room....was 5 star and the food was first class and they brought out as much
as you wanted....of anything on the menu....Then you had to walk around the
ship a few times...The food was really good!
our table by the window!
typical room with balcony.....we had 3 adjoining rooms connected by balconies...
Balcony rooms were definately worth it....view, sound of the water...awesome..
some of the sites...First, Coco Cay....Royal Carribean private island...big BBQ
St thomas did not impress me...too crowded, we were on the wrong side of the island
Magens Bay is the place to be....but the women want to do the tour thing
St maarten was very clean ...spent most of the time snorkeling on the north side of
Fort Amsterdam
We spent most of the day on the Tiki Hut barge to the left!
some more stuff we saw
Best darn burgers....on the ship!
Although its not my first choice of a vacation...it was a very good time. The women enjoyed
it ALOT! Especially Grandma! Kinda expensive though....Beer and soda and drinks of course,
cost alot....So I went to the Windjammer Buffet and got my beverages for free...
Ice tea, lemonade, oj, coffee, etc...and what a buffet...it was endless...
wrong place to be if your on a diet!

Glad you and yours had a good time! Cruising is not my cup of tea, but I know a lot of folks who like it.

Cool pics and trip, i still don`t know how those huge ships float.
I`d love to see that clear blue water once in my life.

Great time there!
Re: Went on the Family Reunion Cerribean Cruise last week, pics
Been on a half dozen cruises and Royal Caribbean is the only line I would go on again. Food & service were first class. My wife is burnt out, on cruising, but I would go back to Alaska in a heart beat. Yes, the drinks, side trips, etc really add up, but it's the price you pay for the experience.
Glad you had a great time.

To give you an idea how clear the water is...
the ship anchored off Coco Cay about 1/2 mile off shore
and we took tender boats to the island....the ships draft is 39'
so they would need at least another 20' or more below that...
and you could see the stuff on the bottom....its that clear...
Then the wind kicked up, and when we went snorlkeling and dove
down to the bottom, it looked like it was snowing!
