Unfortunately, it will be a hard hat & tool belt on Swing Shift... just like yesterday.

But maybe today I won't be fighting Hypokalemia while trying to work...

Get some 'NoSalt' salt-substitute, and you can calculate the amount needed (don't confuse milligrams with millequivalents though...!!!) and incorporate that into your diet or drink. I'll put about a quarter teaspoon in a quart of unsweetened lemonade and it just makes it kind of a boozeless 'marguerita' but is better than Gatorade in that it isn't full of corn syrup. Few people need or should take more than 40 millequivalents per day unless they are measuring blood levels, and I don't off the top of my head remember how many millequivalents are in a teaspoon of NoSalt, but just ask a pharmacist to calculate it out for you. I would think a fourth teaspoonful is 20 to 40 millequivalents, but that may be way off.

Anyway, it can be an alternative to taking potassium pills.

Yeah, I still haven't figured out Me/L vs mg.

Wondering how far off my Magnesium is too...

But between "soak your clothes" sweating at work, daily HCTZ and GI "issues" I've pretty well trashed my electrolyte balance.

All I know is that within 12 hours of taking 198mg Potassium (Gluconate 595mg) every 3 hours (as well as drinking Gatorade + 5000 IU D3) the cramps/weakness stopped entirely, the meralgia diminished, and I could sleep... (and the intermittent arrhythmia  resolved as well. :!: )

Gotta get a bunch of Bananas now that the stores are open again...

Buy a white one.

Wear it over your trousers.

Tell 'em it's a shop apron for doin' sales demos and such.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

You betcha. FT perm set schedule + commission vs FT seasonal & rotating shifts?

I'd take that deal for the same hourly, much less double hourly + bennies...

Sorry though, our territory doesn't include Wheatland...
