Today would have been my Daddy's 70 birthday

Post by fordwannabe »

4/4/43 my Daddy was born in Wilmington N.C. He died on January 10, 2001 from leukemia, in Memphis TN. He had 3 boys, adopted 2 girls, and had approx 60 foster children in that span and my siblings and I miss him. But we thank God on a regular basis for the dash between those dates. Thanks for listening.

Pitchy- if you come back and read this, I am truly sorry you did not have the kind of relationship with your Dad I had with mine. God Bless you with your struggles.

.

Yep - Too young, too soon.

My Dad passed when I was 12y.o., and at the time, I thought he was "old" - 41 ................ (1954).

My condolences to you! You should be proud of him! In a couple of days it will be 10 years since my father died, and I miss him everyday. I'm having trouble seeing the screen now...
