Howdy to all new member here.

Post by Rifle 57 »

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone here on the forum I am new here and I share your love for lever and old west type guns. I also have a small nice little machine shop at home with some lathes and a nice mill and some other machine tools.I do cast all of my own bullets for my rifles and hand guns. I also like to work on firearms. I have two 1874 Shiloh sharps 45-70 and 45-90,two 1885 high walls- 45 colt-405 win, and four levers - Henry big boy 45 colt- three Rossi 92's 45 colt-44 mag-454 casull. Here are some pictures of two of the rossi 92 44 mag-45 colt.I might post some shop photos later.
Thanks Loren.
My 454 Rossi 92 20 in barrel came in today so I added two photo's.

Welcome Loren. Nice looking rifles. Do you hunt with either of the high walls? I've been thinking of picking one up myself.

Kind regards,

Terry

Welcome aboard. Looks like you are in deep with any caliber that starts with a 4 3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Definitely have to post a Range Report when you wring out the Casull. Lots of potential there under the hood without 'hotrodding' it at all.
