Please take a moment to read the above article. Personally I was moved enough to call NU Assistant Atheltic Director Paul Kennedy to tell him that I thought the uniforms were great and it was great that the NU was supporting Wounded Warriors. If you feel similarly please email Mr Kennedy with a supportive message at pkennedy@northwestern.edu .
Thanks

Wm,
I hope that the Wounded Warrior Project has changed its anti-gun stance:

We discussed this, one year ago:WWP does not co-brand, create cause marketing campaigns or receive a percentage or a portion of proceeds from companies in which the product or message is sexual, political or religious in nature, or from alcohol or weapon companies.

Re: Wounded Warriors and Northwestern University
Hmmmm.... Too much at stake. Any allegedly 'charitable' organization refusing "weapon" companies smacks of an elitist, socialist, and obnoxious entity I can't support. Ironic they'd be allegedly supporting our military veterans. Go figure...
Not too surprising, as Northwestern University would likely be 'politically-correct' enough to stay away from anything 'controversial'.

Sorry, but after that garbage, until they start having fundraising raffles offering Barrett 82-A1's to any donor over 18 years of age, they can go screw themselves...there are other ways to help veterans that aren't anti-gun like 'Wounded Warrior' is...rbertalotto wrote:If you listen to Tom's Radio Show, he says that Wounded Warriors does not support:
WWP fundraisers cannot be sexual or political in nature and cannot be partnered with alcohol brands or weapons companies.
Today [Posted: Mon Nov 19, 2012 6:49 pm] I checked the WW web site and it has been ammended......it now says:
19.Are there any fundraisers WWP does not support?
WWP fundraisers cannot be sexual or political in nature and cannot be partnered with alcohol brands.
Seems all the noise Tom made is starting to have an effect..........
