Peep sight Win Mod 88

Looking for a peep sight for a post 64 Win Mod 88.Do not want a tang type as I have a new stock and the receiver is factory drilled/tapped to accept sight. Is there a replacement front sight such as the M-1 and M-14 have.I always enjoyed using that type of front sight with the rear peep.

Lyman made their 56 W88 for the rifle in question. They are out of print, but show up on Ebay and other sites from time to time. I bought one a few years back and it simply screws into the factory holes and requires no alteration to the stock.

Williams makes a peep that goes in the rear scope mount holes it fits a 88,100 & finnwolf. danny
