Dang...Another Old Buddy Fighting Death

One of the finest men you could ever meet. Hiram Hester just found out that he has pancreatic cancer that is in his liver.....I'm praying for a miracle. I'd appreciate some help. 8) :)

Blaine my Grandpa had colon Cancer that migrated to his liver. They told him he was a short timer, he lasted eight more years. Miracles happen sometimes. Prayers up and away.

I'm honestly not being a smart alec, but, I'm comfortable with that looming light at the end of the tunnel...makes it easier to find my glasses, and car keys....I just wish that we could all go well into our 90s, compos mentis, and in our sleep.

Yep, it's apparently our (my age group) turn in the barrel - I lost a pal of 53 years, yesterday evening, to the complications of Diabetes.

but it ain't the age group. A pal of mine just buried his 28-yr-old friend due to leukemia. A 34-yr-old pal of mine just died 2 weeks ago of leukemia.

The good Lord has His own plans and reasons ..... and sometimes, even when we know and trust in that, well, we just don't find the comfort.

I lost my 45 year long best friend and hunting buddy to cancer just 2 months ago.
Treatments gave him almost ten more years but things were not the same.
