My Boy Did Good

Post by jkbrea »

He was on patrol on graveyard shift having a very busy night, had just fought and had to taze a gangmember. They were breaking up a sort of mini riot when his wife calls him about 3am thinking she is in labor. She was due next week. He rushes home and there was no time....that baby wanted out. He called for medics and then delivered his first son! He was scared sh#$ss because the cord was wrapped around the little guys neck. He had a brand new never used folding knife on his safe and used it to cut the cord.
Mom and my first Grandson are doing great!! Not so sure about dad though  .

For me that's 0 to 3 grandchildren in 12 months. :D

He did well, alright. What an experience! Number two will come even faster, so good job he's had some practice now. Congratulations.

Congratulations to your family!

Very considerate of the kid to set his dad's stress expectation level right off the bat.

First impressions are everything.

He should keep that knife handy.

Congrats to your family on the new addition. Grandkids are the best.

Give Dad a pat on the back for holding it together til the crisis was past. Even the toughest of the tough have a problem when they're working on their own, many can't stay the task. Sounds like he did just fine under the ultimate stress.

Congrats indeed! I was thinking about making a gift of that new "unused" knife to an 18 year old boy 'bout 18 years from yesterday..just saying....that is if it's still legal to own knives by then......Les
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!
