I won't sticky this as we all know what happens to the stickies. Just bounce it back to the top every now and then and once we reach the goal I'll delete the payment info and lock the topic.

The goal for the hosting costs for the next two years of service is $215 and another $180 for our MySQL VPS server. Excess funds will, as always, be used to defray domain name costs and other costs of operation of the forum. Any questions, feel free to ask.

It's only every second year as we get a good discount by contracting for 24 months of service at a time. Someone (usually several) gets left out each time as we shut down the mechanism as soon as we reach the goal. This isn't a money maker, it's simply what the domain name states - a levergun community.

No, thank YOU GUYS. It is the diverse denizens who make up the forum. All I do is try to keep the walls standing and the roof from leaking - mainly by calling in someone who knows what they're doing when things head south.

Okeydoke, guys. It's been busy around here so please forgive the tardiness in the update.

Received a donation of $150 ($145.35 after PayPal fees) late December. This is being applied to leverguns.com hosting and etc (it's on a different server from the forum)

Received a total of $422.91 (after fees) from 17 members of the forum. Two checks are "in the mail" (one already arrived) so that will bring the total to $462.91. Donations ranged from $20 to $75 with an average donation of around $25.

The funds disbursed as follows.

$145.35 - leverguns.com hosting and etc.
$214.80 - two years hosting costs for levergunscommunity.com
$248.11 - will be applied to the VPS MySQL server costs (this is the part that does the heavy hauling on the forum software) and domain name fees.

Thank you to all who participated. We're good to go for the next couple of years.

For the guys who missed the drive and want to throw money at something, you can donate to the Moreland Furlough Firearm Feeding Fund instead. Joking.

Seriously, though, thanks for keeping the lights on here and being a part of the best leverguns forum on the 'net. This topic is now locked as promised.
