Wyoming whitetail

Post by Les Staley »

Took a real nice buck this morning. Grunted him off a private ranch on to a public parcel. Was able to make it stick. Plain vanilla 30-06 (it's what I had with me). My son killed a beautiful 8 point tonight at last legal light. Pics of that one tomorrow.Image

Jerry, we're hunting up by Devils Tower a few miles out of Hulett. My wife likes to see them on the wall, so it's caped out and heading for Faler's in Pinedale. I guess it's like having kids, always room for one more. This buck is one of four in my lifetime I would rate right up there.

Glad you had a good hunt, Faler's is THE place.

In the future, I would take it as a favor if you would NOT post anything good about Wyoming in these boards, like the great hunting and fishing , wonderful people, low crime rates, vast public lands, beautiful scenery, lack of gun laws, etc etc. Comments like that attract flies.

Anway, things are far nicer in Montana, better they should go there to settle.

Sorry Jerry. It won't happen again. But here's my sons eight point he killed that evening just before dark. We didn't get any field pics of him. Image
