Really fine composition, subject matter, photos, Nath. Thanks!

You should consider uploading them to a site and making a calendar from them - I sure would!

Nath, what kind of gun is that on the fourth picture down with the rabbit? It looks to have a really long barrel. As for the woodcock, they're speedy little buggers, aren't they. Kinda' like a hummingbird on steroids!! Good shootin".

Nice images. Once in a while I see a copy of the Field at a US book store. I will thumb through it to see how things are on the other side.

Very nice pix Nath.

Wow, that is a looooooooooooooong tail on that pheasant!!! You don't see 'em grow that long on the pen-raised birds they stock here, or even on the ones grown in the wild (very few). That tail is easily 2X what we normally see... Wow...

I wonder if the tail of the scrumptious Braised Pheasant I enjoyed at "Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese" Pub in London was that long...

Glad to see you out in the woods with Jess.

Happy New Year!

You get about a bit don't you! :D

It was a fair age that bird but not tough at all. It had a hooked long upper bill!

There are some birds around here that can spot a twitch from you at a mile!

I look longingly at Your pic's Nath as I remember game like that in Ohio as a Kid. the friends of animals and peta killed off the fur industry and raccoons and coyotes now dominate the woodlands. the Ruffed Grouse, Rabbit's and wild Ring neck Pheasants we had in abundance are just a memory.
Your pic's are just Great. Thank You.
