Looks a lot better than most of the weird looking products they've been putting out lately.

I would be happy even if they built it on the F-150 platform like they did for 30 years and put the twin turbo v6 Eco boost in it.

Modernize the lines, size and utility of the original Bronco I (forget the upsized plush) and I might be interested...

I was happy to see this! But am not selling my 72 Bronco to get one  It's an old friend I bought from my friends father in 75. Not a show truck but an everyday driver.

For some reason it looks like a Dodge to me. (I think it looks like a Power Wagon front end to me :? )
I wish someone would build a decent SUV with no carpet, no Sat phone, no sat radio, no airbags.....The frills packages and government mandates have placed vehicles out of the price range of sensible people. I like electric windows and cruise control just fine, but they can keep all that other junk.

I wish I still had my '66 Carry-All :(

I like it! I had a Plain Jane '94 bronco with bench seats and a 302....Loved that truck! I wish you could get a stripped 4WD V8 Bronco without all the computer display stuff they put in trucks now. Heck, I would even rather have crank windows and non electric locks.

In 2013 I wanted to buy a Plain Jane F150. Every truck on the lot had so much extraneous BS on it that I didn't need, I wound up having to order one plain. Took 8 weeks to get in. The salesman was 24 and couldn't believe I didn't want Bluetooth this and GPS that and a display and on and on....

I want a removable roof and a fold down windshield. Then maybe I'd buy a new one. It's been a while....

Another $60K grocery-getter. Computerized aluminum frame with more hidden black boxes that an owner cannot alter, and has no right to the data within.
Some folks don't mind. I'm not impressed.

The concept photo reminds me of an International Scout.

I drove a 1998 Explorer until it had 225,000 miles then sold it due to rust but it still ran like new. Now I drive a pristine 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. Ford builds 'em right!

It really would be nice to have the option of a outdoor/hunting model as a regular offering. I am thinking of something along the lines of the original Bronco or IH Scout:

- No carpet - rugged rubber mats instead.
- No plush seating finishes.
- Plain dashboard.
- Mid-range engine - good fuel economy with power e.g. Ford Ecoboost 6-cyl.
- Manual transmission.
- Four wheel drive (optional).
- No power windows.
- No power/heated seats.
- No fancy trim packages.
- Special options (cruise control, power door locks, rear-view camera).
- Air conditioning (optional)
- Rugged bumpers and off-road tires.
- Real spare tire.
- Lockable storage area in back for valuables like guns, binoculars, etc.

I would make a great vehicle to actually hunt out of. Do you think any of us would really buy it?

Awesome- we all need a new 40k+ niche vehicle. Toyota has been doing this a few years now with the FJ40

I like that the retro-ish front end (ditto the Scout references, I see it too) is restrained and not the ridiculous mega monstrosity the 150/250 has become. Ford has lost its way styling wise the past decade or so in the truck department and this looks like it could get them back on track. My .02.
