A handgonne for all seasons

Post by Bill in Oregon »

I have had the .50 barrel for several years and finally mounted the tiller and the lever I forged. It's actually a pretty elegant weapon, and must have been a fearsome object circa 1350 or so. Now where did I put that slow match?

Just pretend it's a Pike and wait for the cavalry charge. You can actually be a few feet away rather than have yon horsey jump on your pointy thing.

(Can you imagine a Pike Square where the first rank were Handgonnes and the second rank were long Pikes? Messy....)

Very pretty. Now you can tell all your Dem/Euro friends that not only do you HAVE guns, you make them as well.

Unfortunately yes, if it had a 24" smooth bore barrel it would go a more easily got shotgun certificate, rifled or shorter it would have to go on a FAC which is a bigger hoop to jump through.

Bill,
Is this one of those times when you say, "Here, hold my beer and watch this?"

Nicely done I might add
