HUMOR - Why the Cops Won't Patrol Brice Street in Dallas
I received this tale some time ago, laughed myself silly. Someone just sent me a link to a blog with the message posted on April 30 or the current year - no attribution... so I won't post the link to the blog either since I've known the story for at least a year. Anyway, for your enjoyment. Drink warning, don't blame me for ruined keyboards and soaked monitors!

I never dreamed slowly cruising through a residential neighborhood could be so incredibly dangerous!
Studies have shown that motorcycling requires more decisions per second, and more sheer data processing than nearly any other common activity or sport. The reactions and accurate decision making abilities needed have been likened to the reactions of fighter pilots! The consequences of bad decisions or poor situational awareness are pretty much the same for both groups too.
Occasionally, as a rider I have caught myself starting to make bad or late decisions while riding. In flight training, my instructors called this being “behind the power curveâ€

Well, Clyde Barrow did live in Dallas at one time and he was reputed to be crazy as a squirrell. Maybe he learned from the squirrells in Dallas.

Very funny! I am a motorcycle lover and have been riding since 1970...Rode my Harley Coast-to Coast, and glad I never met that critter.
I have been stung a few times by insects and once in West VA. by a Yellow Jacket....My ear swelled up and it hurt like hell!
I hit a deer once on the coast of CA...killed the deer and survived. I was on an old 750 Norton back in 1977...
