Ha! My type of humor. One thing for sure, no Muslims will be buying that....first, they have no woods and second, they use their right hand for wiping and their left for eating.----6

Re: Handy Item for Hunting Trips
One day when taking a leak in the woods, my son who was just a little fellow apparently with latent memories of the days before potty training and house breaking asked:
"Dad....peeing in the woods is fun but how do you poop ?"
My reply was, "The safest way, son, is to sit on a five gallon bucket !"

Lol
Setting down toilet paper in the snow doesn't make for a happy camper, (as I'm scanning for cougars and bears) so I've found that a toilet paper roll fits nicely over the barrel and mag tube of my 94.
If there's not too much paper on the roll you can even still kinda see where you're aimin!

I just realized that means there is a market for another accessory-rail component for AR-15's....!Camel73 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 9:59 am Lol

Nice... Oh that was a good chuckle.
A guy got mauled by a grizz about ten minutes as the crow flies from where our regular spot is, lots of blacks and I've hiked across cougar with cub tracks.
My brother is an AR guy (something I don't really feel a need for) and he too understands the seriousness of the moment while doing the deed out there.
That'll be another good laugh for later.
Thanks AJMD429! And JimT!

Oh how primitive!
Try Viva select-a-size paper towels: you'll never bother with one of those funny little rolls again. You folks who do your duty in real woods won't notice quite as much difference but us folks who do most of ours out in the high desert (or low desert for that matter) are usually dealing with considerable wind and the superiority of the paper towel over the tp is rather considerable.

Paper towels, or "non skid" as we call em, are a real woodsmans tool.
You peel off a few sheets ( the invention of the half sheets were genius), fold them flat, and put them in every pocket of every coat or pair of pants you may wear in the woods. I have jackets and wool pants with "3 sheet folds" that are years old.
It doesn't desintergrate like TP, and if it gets damp it can be dried. If you field dress game, it can be used to clean up.
It's the only way to.....go.

Just do like dogs, pinch it off and drag yer Azz in the leaves, down a log whatever. That's why bears rub their backs against trees- removing dingleberries!
