Saint James Hotel in Cimarron

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

We had a great lunch in Cimarron today.

I didn’t dance naked on the bar, but we had a fine time.

Man, that is a mean bunch of hombres I would not wish to tangle with unless I had a chance to ply the lads first with some tumbles of sotol!
What a historic place. 8)

Matt sure lost a lot of weight since I knew him. Looks like Scott is the only one with a “real” gun.

I was definitely in the minority with a SAA but certainly not outclassed.

Some salty Hombres! We stayed there last year in one of the haunted rooms, love that whole area up there, wish it was just an hour or two closer. Thanks for sharing!

I wore this SAA all week and it’s the only pistol I brought with me that I actually shot. With my old 255 gr RNFP and 8 grains of Unique it is sighted perfectly for the 50 meter pigs.

Now if I brought my old Sharps rifle into the lobby, it may have raised a few eyebrows!
