The PH just to the left out of the picture took the first shot and amazingly while the man was being lifted off the ground by that big old buffalo! The PH #2 hit the buffalo twice, and continued to reload and shoot until he was sure it was dead.
Amazing nerves during what was a very bad situation for sure!

One of my instructors was a Brit, Leonard Bull. he spent time as a game ranger in SA, told us a story of a Zulu warrior the took a 45-70 bullet in his hip as the rancher tried to keep him from stealing cattle.
Bull tracked the Zulu for 3 days on a busted hip all while driving thos cows and found him dead. Everything in Africa is tough!

Holy stuff! The one dude was shooting while the guy was 'riding' the buffalo! Lucky it wasn't worse, lot of adrenaline flowing. Amazing video.
