I'm with OI on this one. I tried a Bore Snake and got excellent results. I went and purchased on for .22, use one for .45 and one for .50. In combination with a foaming bore cleaner I get good shiny barrels with about 3 or 4 passes of the snake. That's all the barrel cleaning I'm into anyway.

The 30-30 cartridge in LeverEvolution is much more impressive than the 45-70. I get better ballistics than the LeverEvolution in 45-70 with my Grizzly Cartridge load of 405gr Kodiak @ 2000 fps.

There wasn't much meat damage regardless of cartridge. The lung shots ruined a few ribs, that's all. Even the shoulder shots put a .30 hole in one side and if they exited the hole was about .50.
