I would go with the RNFP. Load bullets that are the same size as your cylinder throats. Use a soft lube. With WC's you will most likely need a custom expander, and a powder measure that will throw sub two grain charges accurately. If your gun has fixed sights I would stick with 98 to 100 gr bullets ...

Another option for those who are thinking of getting another measure - I finally splurged and got a Harrell's measure , and it is AWESOME. Hi Doc Sometime when your bored and nothing better to do :) try to set your little Harrel to throw 1.8 gr of Red Dot. I can get no consistency out of mine below...

Speer #11 and 12 shows 8 gr Blue dot with 260 gr Jacketed for a starting load.

And 8.6 Blue dot with a swaged 250gr SWC lead bullet.

These work well from point blank to around 40 ft. They were made from .308 win.

I believe you could come up with a workable case made similar from .223 for the .380.

Occasionally you can buy the .38 capsules for reloading... Maybe the 9mm capsules are available occasionally too? On another front, somewhere I have specs for cutting down .308/.30-06 brass for use to build .45acp shot loads... (feed ramp impinges on long brass...) Maybe there is a similar .380/9mm...

I use the propane torch method.

I loosen the two mounting bolts and put shim at the rear so the sizer tilts forward.

Remove the guts from both ends and apply gentle heat, I place a container at the bottom in the front to catch the lube.

Maybe 30 minutes from start to back in business.
