TIP: Take a cartridge with you, when straw hunting- to be sure to get the right inner diameter, to accept the shells.

I, too, get about a 6" difference @ 100yds in the POI of my Marlin .35 - but much less (about 1 1/2") in my M1895SS .45-70.

I've readjusted my .35's peep accordingly- but, IMHO, the .45-70's close enugh, for government work ! :wink:

BTW - That's how I used to clean my empty brass, back when I was handloading. :lol: I'd put a hundred empties or so, into an pillowcase, and toss in the close washer along with a towel load. Worked great - and no media to pick outta flash holes, either. :roll:

I've never seen one with that many leafs, nor have I ever seen any in conjunction with a ladder/carbine rear sight.
