Video from another angle in this article. Complicated, but the man killed slung the other guy around using the gun to do so but didn't "take" the gun. There seemed to be significant distance between the two when the shots were fired. It's not clear that he was advancing on him when he was ...

Rhim, I see no evidence when the father of the child he came to pick up, according to the pre-arranged custody orders, tried to enter the house. Not sure where you are coming from on this idea. I think the guy who was killed was there to pick up his child as part of the court ordered sharing of custody. Seems the friend (perhaps boyfriend) of the mother decided to produce a weapon instead of the child. Obviously it didn't end well for the father but I don't think it's going to end all that...

99.9% of America these days doesn't realize you have to cock the hammer on an SAA before the trigger will fire the weapon ... albeit I'm discounting the likelihood he was fanning the gun. Even today's "knowledgeable" younger gun people are only familiar with Glocks and other such semi-auto...

Does anyone know why they went to the two-piece lever early on in Win '95 production? Moving a 71 from 348 Win to 50-110 WCF or 450 Alaskan is probably the best path forward. I would think an 86 in 45-90 would be formidable unless it's without a nickel steel barrel and needs to be run at lower pre-smokeless pressures. You should be able to get 50-110 brass online and even 450 Alaskan...
