EBR are fine but they are Sloooooooow. I can get 10 rounds fired off with my 92 Rossi before one can take the safety off a EBR.

A lever gun will be faster for 10 round than a EBR every time. :wink:

I have no length problem at all in my .357, and I shoot 200 gr spire points.

Oh :!: forgot it is a TC contender and I had the chamber lengthened to .357 Maximum. :?

Never clean your barrel during a hunt season, unless of course the weather is foul and it must be done.

I used to carry a couple of the kids ballon's in my pocket to place over the end of the barrel if the weather got bad.

You are right, the .357 blackhawk is a Mis-match. A 44 open top 1872 would be a nice touch. Or better yet a 45 Schof.
