I actually reload the .32NAA, which is a 380 necked down to a 32. But I would reload the 380 regardless, factory ammo is way to pricey for me, and it can be hard to find. You can find tons of bullets to use because the 9mm is the same .355 and if in a pinch, one can trim 9mm to size to fit the .380...

You might try reaming the cylinder throats. That cured a similar problem I had with Ruger Blackhawk in 45 colt.

I like to carry a NAA Guardian in 32NAA. It's easy to conceal and potent. Looks tiny next to an old 45.

You might try fire lapping.

I use a separate expander die for 38-55 and 40-65 that has a gentle taper, about any size you want from track of the wolf. I think they were only a few bucks each.

Magnum primers will help. They are all I use with 5744.
