Pitchy, down here in the South they are called a "Gutbucket Base". I made one years ago. You have to use the right type of cord or small rope to get the deep sound.

Dang, but that was... Anyway, I think you've stumbled onto a solution to your road hunter/tresspassing problem - just string some speakers along your fence and turn yourself up. That "road kill rumble" is enough to scare anyone off! :wink: :wink: :D

That old trumpet has been around here for a long time, it has Airflow ingraved on the horn. Anyone know anything about them.
