I used to shoot a friends Single Shot .410 shot gun a lot and had tons of fun with it. Always wanted a Winchester 9410 and by the time I had the money to buy my first gun they were discontiued. If I ever find a good price on one, I'll probably snag it.

Re: Ruger Blackhawk 9mm conversion cylinders
I have a new model Blackhawk .357 Magnum/9mm Convertible and accuracy is pretty good at 15 yards with 9mm, .38 or .357 Magnum. It's better then I am. ;) As for getting another cylinder, I have no clue. Couldn't hurt to ask Ruger or a custom smith. 125 grain 9mm out of my Ruger is pretty easy on the ...

I like the skinner sights on my Marlin 1894C .357 Magnum. They work really well. Which one is the Ladder sight? I'm not seeing one called that on his website. I have the 1894 Peep sight and front blade. Congrats on the new sight.

Hmm, 1893 is sounding good I'll give it a try. Daughters sixteen and her younger sister will be using a 336 SS she got two days ago for her birthday. I'm trying to keep both of them away from guys with nicknames like wildman though. Sounds like a great family when both sisters shoot lever...

Thats a nice rifle you have there. Thanks for the pictures. Good luck with the parts. Please keep us updated.
Just curious, how old is your daughter and is she single? - any girl that can handle a .30-30 lever gun is good in my book.

I have a Rossi copy of the '92 and an 1894 Marlin Cowboy in .357. Both are great guns. I find the Rossi (same as the Puma) to be more critical as to overall cartridge length than the Marlin. Also, you can single feed the Marlin faster . All you have to do is place the cartridge into the ejection po...

I believe I payed about $460 for my 1894C in .357 Magnum back in March. When I got mine I bought a few different types of ammo to test in it. I like the 125 grain HSM .357 Mags or .38's and 158 grain Independance ammo.

I only got to a range with at least 1 buddy. Be that an indoor or out door range. When I'm at an outdoor range I like to have 3+ people and leave 1 of then with a loaded gun watching the other guns.
