OMG I never get tired of looking at the two casehardened 1894s. Lots 2085 and 2029.

There were only a couple pairs of sequentials in the box as I recall.claybob86 wrote:I guess the 1894s in that case are consecutive serial numbers. If so, that price is OK with me. Soon as I get rich, I'm after 'em!

Re: 1886 Winchester, refinish?
Sixgun is correct. Winchester stopped case hardening as an option on all of there rifles after 1901. If your rifle dates to 1916 then it would not have been casehardened. Properly refinished Winchesters are gaining popularity with collectors. That said, it would be best to refinish the gun as it was...

Re: Gun Broker MORONS!
Theres one on there now being passed off as factory engraved and its not. Seller wants $8000. The kicker is that the exact rifle just sold at RIA for $2500ish and was clearly not represented as being factory engraved.

Re: 5.7x28??
I have a PS-90. It is not for home defense and outside of 100 yards wont kill a squirrel. That said, it is fun as all heck to shoot. No recoil, and report is like a .22mag. Overall its just plain fun!

Unfortunately guys I sold my F-350 six years ago. I keep the name 1badf350 because I have been joining various forums since I first bought it and it is easy to just keep all my screen names the same. It was a 2000 crew cab short bed lariat with 7.3 PSD. It had a 6" lift, 38" tires, TS Perf...

Re: Hello from new member
Well....you guys have already seen my favorite lever. Its a casehardened model 1894 deluxe sporting rifle that dates to 1895. COSteve posted about it back in February.
I also have a 1938 Model 94. I have one Marlin model 1895MR in .450 Marlin.
