I also noticed there's a lot of people using the old prosilver vs subsilver2 (ouch that's ugly) I don't know if we want to just deactive and it force the change or just let people know they can change this in their user settings.

At the right price I would grab it, smooth floating barrel, nice but I've never seen one at a price that wouldn't just make me go get the R93 for the money and I have a R93 nothing is better. IMHO

Guess it depends what your shooting at, if it's a car on the way to the wrecker probably farther ;) With iron on a rifle I wouldn't push it past 100 yards, on a pistol I haven't pushed that it a while to even try but certainly probably 1/2 that. I used to occasionally shoot competition with a 45/70 ...

They actually made 2 experimental xp-100's in 22lr actually they advertised their availability, I tried hard to get one of them when the project was shelved but no luck. I'm not sure who ended up with them.

How do people do burglar alarms without land lines...? We don't have cable in our area, so our only way 'out' is via satellite (internet), cellular, or land line. Even cellular is iffy as far as reception, so we have to have land line if only for the alarm systems. Well... FWIW if your alarm system...
