Heads up - server will be down briefly

Warning shot....

I don't know exactly when but between now and Monday ;)

I'm going to shutdown, do a manual backup MYSELF (for reasons I won't expand on), and do an upgrade.
It may take me 2-3 hours so if the board goes offline again it's HOPEFULLY me and not something else.

I have NO answers to what happened between March 14th at 4:30 to 2:45 but I sure hope we never see it again.
(Frankly I don't think it was us)

but since not everyone is paying attention there I figured I'd put it out a bit more obvious. Sometime between now and Monday, 24th of March, 2014, the forum will be locked for a backup and upgrade. SO - if you get a "forum not available" message when visiting here don't panic. Instead, take time to thank David for pulling our chestnuts out of the fire. :)

I really appreciate all the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep this forum or blogs like Hobie's online and current. When you include putting up with characters like me and a few others it is amazing!

I also noticed there's a lot of people using the old prosilver vs subsilver2 (ouch that's ugly) I don't know if we want to just deactive and it force the change or just let people know they can change this in their user settings.

If your board is BLUE this is you.

I looked in CP for settings and could not find "settings", or a way to change.
Just make mine anyway that is best for your system.

well poop, it's supposed to be in board preferences, let me see if we somehow disabled letting people change.

I went and look user profile IS overridden so you don't have a choice, no-one is the ugly blue theme, when and fixed it for nothing, I'm going to disable...
