The "Marlin Jam" does not occur in the 336 action. I prefer the 336 over the Winchester. I put between 1600 and 2000 rounds through my Marlin 1894 each year and have done so with the same rifle for the last 10 years without ever having a round jam.

I'm with everyone esle on this, that's too light of a load.

I think that you are seeing Walmart's ongoing policy of quietly getting out of selling anything gun related. The number of locations that even sell firearms is few and far between. Yes, the 150 grain soft point is designed to be safe for tube magazines. My .35 just won't shoot the 150's worth a darn though, but if yours does these are good deer bullets.
