Of what I have now: Winchester 1886 .50-110 (mighty tough call vs. 71 .348 WIN and/or Marlin 1895 .45-70, love all three) Stevens Favorite .22 LR Ruger Gold Label SxS 12 gauge Vaquero (older large frame) .45 Colt If I could substitute something I don't have in the safe: maybe a 39A .22 LR Then again...

Grizzly Cartridge

Sorry if I have missed something, but does anyone know what ever happened with the Grizzly Cartridge safari ammo Mike Rintoul was developing a year or so ago?

Interested to see if he had any new .50-110 loads. Thanks.

On the subject of aperture sights. I held a #1 .45-70 with the Ashley/XS system installed. Very fast. Faster than the NECG with the .125" aperture installed. I took the .125" and opened it up to .140" and polished it with a pointed Dremel polishing bit. It is now faster but not like ...
