Got me to thinking about the many times been out hunting over the years ( mostly unsuccessful ) and the pics I've taken just because I could , and felt the same way as Old No7 . What scope is that, and what do you have planned for it? It is a weaver B6 , roughly the same vintage as the rifle . If the question was worded different I would just answer Marlin 20" carbine and been done with it.

But since I use the 1894 in .44 mag , the 1936 in .32 special , and the 336 in .35 rem I just hit the 32 and the 35 on the poll.
